“Each
second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment
that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach
them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of
France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to
each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are
unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another
child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you
move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You
have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow
up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must
work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.”

A quote by Picasso...
This quote is so relevant to today's world where some feel that life is cheap, and power is everything.

Looks Like Rain
It's even raining in Lima Peru. Well the weather people called it a light Drizzle. But I know it's raining in New Orleans today. So I took a weather map and turned it into an abstract and called it "Looks Like Rain". 12x12 digital painting.

Sky Valla
This is one of my latest Digital Abstract Paintings I called Sky Villa. As with almost all my abstracts, I start out with an idea and it turns into something else. That's alright though because the painting takes me along rather then the other way around. Then when I step back and take a good look at my work, if I like what I see I take a closer look and there are shapes and features that I didn't know I did. How abstract can a person get? But it's true.
